Neural is an AI chain that enables on-chain inference thanks to the Neural Virtual Machine (NVM). Neural's chain comes with custom precompiles supporting scientific computing functions, atomic inference using small machine learning models, native support for zero knowledge verifiers, and optimistic machine learning. NVM is also entirely backwards compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Neural's innovative Inference Chains are a primitive created to be an abstraction of inference requests on the Neural chain.
Neural is a Layer 1 blockchain, any models that can't fit as precompiles will be supported through zero knowledge proofs with decentralized compute or for models that require significant computational resources with optimistic machine learning or with trusted L4 compute chains.
Neural’s approach is to provide an agnostic platform to deAI innovation. Neural currently supports AML, ZKML, OPML, and TRML. In ZKML, Neural supports all currently available fraud proofs, and they are integrated on-chain to enable AI dApp developers to decide their favored approach.
